This week at Bedford Speedway...
The kids will have bike races this week in addition to the regular program.  Age groups will be from 2 to 12 and can still register this Friday night from 5:00  to 7:00 p.m.   A table will be set up by Ray Welsh's photo stand.  WAYC will be giving away T-shirts to the first 100 registered and Tri-State racing photos of Cumberland, Md. will be giving checkered flags to all participants. Also,  Lankey's Sleep Zone and Best Way Pizza will be sponsoring all trophies for the races.  ...7-27-04

The Bedford Speedway was forced to cancel racing action on Friday due to rain. Racing action will resume next Friday, July 30th....7-23-04

HAUS WINS FIRECRACKER 35

BEDFORD, PA -  A super smooth track that held good moisture all evening provided excellent racing Friday night, and Hamburg, Pa's Scotty Haus took full advantage of the great track conditions by winning the Firecracker 35 Super Late Model race.  The track crew worked diligently all week to make mid-season surface repairs, and an incredibly fast speedway rewarded their efforts.  Tim Smith, Jr. won his 3rd Limited Late Model feature, and Travis Calhoun picked up first ever career Street Stock win.  Chuck Weyant scored his second Cruiser-Hobby Stock win. ...7-3-04

Craig Rickert from Mt. Union, Pa.  Craig's been a fan at Bedford for 4 years, and his favorite thing about the speedway is the good racing, the polite staff, and the new lighting.  Craig watches the races from the pits and the grandstands and his favorite driver is Tim Smith Jr..
